Materials: Plastic, Ceramic Grinder, WoodBottle Grinders look nothing like the salt and pepper grinders you’re used to. And that’s the whole plan. To create something noticeable and to change a well-known thing into something brand new – as a way to encourage people to try new things. “We wanted to steer far away from the predictable grinders and instead encourage people to experiment with spices, grains, seeds and all the other modern cuisine ingredients. The new powerful ceramic grinder allows you to be more creative, “says designer Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen” from Norm. The grinders have a powerful ceramic grinder, and they are very easy to operate. You simply open them, fill them with delicious ingredients and close them again. Simple as that. The unique, inverted design ensures that salt, pepper, pumpkin seeds, dried blueberries, walnuts – or whatever you fill them with - only sprinkle out when you grind, leaving no trace on the table or in the kitchen

Rivsalt [grated salt] is a gastronomic experience and a new way of adding salt to food. Natural Himalaya salt is grated onto the dish with a Japanese stainless steel grater of highest quality. The salt and grater becomes a centerpiece of the dining table when placed in the accompanying stand made from untreated natural oak.
The original Rivsalt product includes a Japanese grater, a Himalaya salt rock and a stand made from untreated natural oak, all delivered in an attractive cardboard gift tube.
Care instructions:
Your Rivsalt grater is comparable to a quality chef’s knife. To keep it sharp, shiny and rust free wash your Rivsalt grater by hand regularly using a mild dishwashing liquid and water. Use a brush to remove loose salt and dirt. After washing, rinse with water and dry thoroughly with a towel. The Rivsalt grater should not be put in the dishwasher, doing so could damage the sharp edges. Please be aware that during hot weather and high humidity it is necessary to care a little extra for your Rivsalt and clean your grater more regularly.

Refill comes with three amazing Himalayan salt rocks.
Himalayan rock salt originates from northern Pakistan, in the area called the “salt range” not far from the Himalayan mountains. It is a natural rock salt that was created when the prehistoric seas evaporated some 250 million years ago. This was long before the sub continent Indian plate moved north and crashed into Asia creating the Himalayan mountain range. The actual salt rocks vary in color from pure white to beautiful light pink to dramatic deep red, all depending on iron oxide content.
Taste
Highly flavored with lasting spicy heat over a mild mineral body.
Dishes
Ideal for seasoning meat and fish, as well as vegetables.
